RADIESSE
Radiesse, a distinctive collagen booster, consists of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) gel microspheres in a sodium gel solution.
At The Confidence Bar, we specialize in hyperdiluted Radiesse, a blend of Radiesse with sterile saline and lidocaine, enhancing comfort and transforming it into a spreadable biostimulator for larger areas like the décolletage, neck, and knees. This treatment visibly smooths and strengthens the skin by creating a scaffold of CaHA particles that stimulates collagen and elastin production.
The advanced science behind hyperdiluted Radiesse yields long-lasting results, often over a year or more, known for skin-tightening and reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and skin crepiness. It is effective for hands, camouflaging veins and tendons, and improving contour and firmness from the jawline to the neck, as well as addressing skin laxity in the neck (our fav treatment) , décolletage, and above the knees.
Typically, two to three sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, are needed for desired results, varying with individual cases of sun damage or skin laxity. We recommend scheduling follow-up treatments every 12 months, and this can be arranged during your initial appointment.
Regarding safety, while rare, there's a risk of accidental injection into a blood vessel with no available antidote, unlike hyaluronic acid fillers. It's important to discuss these rare risks, along with more common ones like bruising, redness, and swelling, with our practitioners.

BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
Schedule your appointment at least four weeks prior to a special event that you may be attending, such as a wedding or a vacation. Bruising and swelling may be apparent for up to two weeks after your treatment and you may require refinement after the original treatment.
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to treatment, as it can thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising.
Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood-thinning medications, if possible, for a period of two weeks before treatment. Medications and supplements such as aspirin, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, and other NSAIDS thin the blood and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.
Discontinue Retin-A use two days before and two days after treatment.
If you do not feel well, have a rash, cold sore, or blemish in the treatment area, please reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.
You will receive an email from our office just prior to your treatment recapping these pre-treatment instructions.

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Post-treatment, you can resume most activities immediately, but avoid makeup, saunas, hot tubs, swimming, and strenuous activity for 24-48 hours post injection.
You'll likely notice an improvement on the treatment day, with results enhancing over the following months as your body metabolizes the prodcut and produces new collagen and elastin.

DAY OF TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
On the day of treatment, inform us of any medical history or medication changes. Eat a solid meal beforehand to prevent lightheadedness, and arrive with a clean face.
Note that treatments aren't recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
