Experience the ultimate regenerative treatment with this customized microneedling approach.

Microneedling gets a boost with a variety of add-ins, including PRP, exosomes or restructurer. After a thorough consultation, your expert provider will create the best microneedling treatment for your skincare goals.

Adding Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to microneedling treatments is a popular enhancement. PRP involves using a patient's own blood, which is processed to isolate platelets that are rich in growth factors. These growth factors contribute regenerative and healing properties that can augment microneedling’s overall results.

Exosomes are another way to optimize your microneedling experience. These nano-sized particles contain various growth factors, and proteins that can promote cellular communication, tissue repair, collagen synthesis and regeneration. Exosomes can enhance the anti-aging effects of microneedling, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Restructurer is a combination of ascorbic acid, glutathione, superoxide dismutase, lipoic acid and hyaluronic acid. This blend significantly reduces the formation of free radicals, protecting the skin from cell oxidation and oxidative stress. It effectively slows down the skin aging process, diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and evens skin tone.

I’ve gone here a couple of times after my fiancé recommended this place and had consistently positive experience. I had my appointments with Lauren and couldn’t recommend her highly enough—always a pleasure to chat with, professional and does a great job answering any questions about the treatments, accommodating for specific concerns, and talking through and personalizing the treatment plan to meet specific needs. Everybody else in the office is is very welcoming as well.
They offer a variety of products to supplement the treatments. Some can be pretty pricey, but they do have a pretty good price range to choose from and can suggest different approaches at different budgets—you just have to ask.
Highly recommend!

I just had the most amazing PRP micro needling facial with Lamija! She made me feel comfortable and it was truly a pleasure being with her! It was my first time getting PRP micro needling done and I cannot wait to see my results before my wedding. She made me feel safe by showing me every piece of equipment she was using and letting me know what to expect the whole time. I cannot recommend her enough! Go to The Confidence Bar if you are looking for top notch aesthetics procedures!!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Tess A Kostiner

I went to Chicago to visit my cousin and she recommended the Confidence Bar because I was considering getting my first med spa treatment. I originally considered botox to target my under-eye bags and fine lines but did not want fillers. When I arrived for my consultation the receptionist was pleasant and the ambience was wonderful and immediately put me at ease.
Then I met my aesthetician Lamija (La-mee-yah) who was absolutely amazing!! She really helped me understand the different services and truly listened to my concerns. Lamija respected the fact I didn't want fillers which was great because beforehand I assumed they would push fillers. After listening to my concerns and recognizing that I didn't want to do anything too drastic, Lamija recommended Microneedling with Exosomes as a first treatment. I am so happy with the results especially because the stimulation of collagen production will have long-lasting effects.
Can't rave enough about this place and Lamija! And I cant wait to visit my cousin again so I can book another appointment :)

Microneedling sessions are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. You also have the option to combine microneedling with PRP to help you achieve your desired results faster.

Discontinue use of Retin A, Retinols, Vitamin A creams, and other topical medications for 3-5 days before and after your microneedling treatment.

Sun exposure and/or usage of a tanning bed, including self-tanning products, must be avoided for a minimum of 24 hours and preferably one week before and after the treatment. Sun exposure will increase the risk of hypopigmentation (white spots) or hyperpigmentation (dark spots), both of which could last for several months or even permanently. A microneedling treatment will not be administered on sunburned skin.

Accutane and any other photosensitizing medication should be discontinued for a period of at least 6 months prior to receiving treatment and should not be used during your course of treatment.
You may not receive any type of chemical peel on the treatment area, 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after.
Waxing and/or use of chemical depilatories must be avoided for 2 weeks prior to and after the treatment. Shaving is allowed immediately before treatment and 48-72 hours after treatment as long as there is no skin irritation.

You may not receive a microneedling treatment if you are pregnant, lactating, taking blood thinners, if you have been treated for skin cancer in the treatment area or if you have acne or open lesions in the treatment area. Also, surgical scars must be healed for six months prior to microneedling.

If you are prone to keloid scarring, please consult your doctor before receiving a treatment.

If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend you use prophylactic antiviral therapy in the form of Valtrex® or Acyclovir before your treatment. If so, follow the directions prescribed by your doctor.

You will receive an email from our office just prior to your treatment recapping these pre-treatment instructions

It is normal to look and feel as if you are sunburned for 1-3 days after the treatment. The severity of redness will depend on the aggressiveness of the treatment. Your skin may feel tight, dry, swollen, and sensitive to the touch. The treated area may appear darker, and the darkened skin may flake off within 1 week. Avoid picking or exfoliating the area and allow old skin to flake off naturally.

Do not wear makeup for 12 hours after your treatment.

Avoid contact with animals/pets for the first 4 hours.

Make sure your sheets and pillowcases are clean, especially on the night of your treatment.

Wash the treated area twice a day with a gentle cleanser. Use tepid water only. Apply a soothing, healing moisturizer or oil as often as needed for the first 3 days.

Avoid sun exposure for at least 24 hours after your treatment, and preferably for 1-2 weeks. If you know you will be outdoors and exposed to the sun (driving to work for example), wear a protective hat and apply a full spectrum sunblock of SPF 30 or higher.

Do not use exfoliating medications, chemicals, or products on the treated areas for at least 1 week.
If you are experiencing skin irritation, avoid exercise that causes sweating, as well as Jacuzzis, saunas, and steam baths.

Take Advil or Tylenol as necessary for discomfort. If desired, apply a cool compress to minimize swelling.

The night of treatment, sleep on your back with your head elevated slightly to reduce swelling.

You may notice immediate as well as longer-term improvements in your skin. For best results, we recommend a series of 3-6 treatments administered at approximately 4-6 week intervals.

You will receive an email from our team immediately after your treatment recapping these post-treatment instructions.

Notify the provider of any tattoos, including cosmetic tattooing, in the vicinity of the area to be treated as tattoos must be avoided. That includes permanent makeup and micro-blading.

If you have a history of cold sores, we may recommend you use prophylactic antiviral therapy in the form of Valtrex® or Acyclovir before your treatment. If so, follow the directions prescribed by your Doctor.

During the course of your treatments, notify your provider of any changes to your medical history, health status, or personal activities that may be relevant to your treatment.
