Regenerative Treatments: Rebuilding Your Foundation

We often hear about biostimulators and regenerative treatments, but what does that actually mean?
The many treatments we offer are different tools in the toolbox - they function differently and have unique purposes. Neuromodulators (or tox) temporarily pauses muscle movement to pause the deepening of lines and wrinkles. Fillers provide structure and internal support. Regenerative treatments work to "turn back the clock" by supporting the functions that our bodies used to do easily.
In particular, they support the production of elastin and collagen. These structural proteins are the building blocks that make our beautiful faces. As a natural consequence of aging, we lose our collagen at a rate of 1% per year. By age 45, we have lost approximately 25%! Biostimulator treatments work with the body to support that function, resulting in visible, natural, confidence-boosting results.

Sculptra
Sculptra is the secret to "aging backward" that we can't stop talking about. The main ingredient, Poly-L-lactic acid, is a biocompatible substance that increases collagen formation and helps restore skin structure. Sculptra is not a filler - it works by activating fibroblasts and actively growing collagen in the targeted areas. It is well-suited to the contours of the face, particularly in areas like the temples, preauricular region (where we lose volume in front of the ear), and the lateral jawline, helping to counteract the natural effects of gravity in those areas. This growth happens gradually and can last for a year with annual maintenance. It is well-suited to the frame of the face, such as the temples and chin, to defy the natural effect of gravity on those areas.
Radiesse
Radiesse is a collagen booster that uses microspheres of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) suspended in a gel solution to visibly smooth and strengthen skin. Over 2-3 sessions, CaHA creates a scaffolding that stimulates collagen and elastin production for long-lasting results. Radiesse can be used as is, or we can mix it to adjust its consistency based on your skin quality, aesthetic goals, or specific areas of concern. Radiesse has excellent application on the neck, decolletage, hands, and beyond to alleviate fine lines, crepe-y skin, visible veins, and more.
PRG
Or, as we like to call it, "Liquid Gold". Platelet-Rich Gel (PRG) revives your complexion using your own growth factors. Your appointment begins with a simple blood draw, followed by centrifugation to separate the beneficial components of your blood. These components are heated and cooled causing the plasma's Human Serum Albumin (HSA) to clot and form a thick gel. This is then injected to trigger natural healing, improve skin texture, and reduce signs of aging. PRG is safe for injection into the delicate under-eye skin, softening tired hollows and enhancing skin texture. To achieve the best results, we have specific pre-care instructions that include a healthy diet in the days leading up to your treatment.
