Meet the Confidence Booster: Lamija Hubjer, MMS PA-C

Updated: 3 hours ago

There are so many amazing, talented people at The Confidence Bar. In our "Meet the Confidence Booster" series, you'll get to know more about each practitioner and staff member - and the unique skills they bring to our practice.

How did you get your start in Aesthetics?

ree

I worked as a PA in a hospital setting for 12 years and experienced firsthand how aesthetic treatments could help me look refreshed, even during my most exhausted moments. That transformation inspired me to become an aesthetic practitioner myself. For me, it is about more than just appearance. It is about empowerment and helping people reflect on the outside how vibrant and confident they feel within.

What drew you to The Confidence Bar?

My first experience with The Confidence Bar was as a patient, and I had never encountered such genuine and professional care. I was so impressed that I knew I would never go anywhere else. Today, I am incredibly proud to be part of The Confidence Bar team, where I have the opportunity to uphold and contribute to the practice’s values and philosophy every day.

Share a patient story that had an impact on how you approach patient care.

Every patient brings a unique story. One that deeply impacted me was a woman in her mid 50s who had never received aesthetic treatments. Despite being highly competent in her career, she feared losing her job as younger professionals entered her field. We created a thoughtful treatment plan and implemented it gradually over a six month period. Her transformation was natural and beautiful, and we shared many heartfelt moments, especially when comparing her before and after photos. Aesthetic medicine isn’t just about enhancing appearance. It is about building trust, restoring confidence, and honoring each person’s individuality.

What treatment is your favorite to see the before-and-after?

I love performing a full-face assessment with every patient, even if they come in focused on a single area. I believe this is the most important step in any consultation, as treating one area in isolation can sometimes disrupt overall facial harmony. In some cases, the best recommendation is no treatment at all. We age across all areas and layers of the face, and each deserves thoughtful, individualized care. I especially enjoy optimizing skin health, as it is the the envelope that enhances everything else. A touch of neurotoxin or filler looks its best on radiant, healthy skin. In my experience, a multimodal approach consistently delivers the most natural, balanced, and lasting results.
