A Little Update and a Big Thank You

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are enjoying these beautiful summer months.

I wanted to share a little update and, most importantly, say thank you.

A few months ago, I shared that after more than 20 years in aesthetic medicine, I would slowly be shifting more of my focus toward education and training through our educational center, The Confidence Lab.

Honestly, the love, encouragement, and support you all showed me after that message meant more than I can explain. Many of you have been with me for 10, 15, and even 20 years. To receive your well wishes and hear your kind words filled my cup more than you know. Thank you.

Many of you know that educating the next generation of aesthetic practitioners is one of my greatest passions. Alongside our incredible team, we have built something very special at The Confidence Lab, and you may notice that from time to time there is a student shadowing during your appointment as part of our 6-month Preceptorship Program.

A special thank you to those of you who have welcomed these students into the room. Your willingness to let others listen, learn, and observe has helped shape safer, more knowledgeable practitioners who will go on to care for patients all over the country. You have been part of that experience.

I thought it might be fun to share a little of what we have accomplished. What started with me traveling the country teaching (on a plane every week I don't miss that travel!) has now grown into something special right here in Chicago with our incredible team.

New and experienced practitioners have traveled to learn with us from more than 40 states across the country and even internationally. We have welcomed over 1,545 practitioners to our hands-on trainings and have proudly cheerleaded more than 139 students through our Preceptorship Program.

Every year we host more than 100 educational events through The Confidence Lab. Can you believe it? From hands-on trainings and cadaver courses to community events, mentorship opportunities, and online education.

When I look at those numbers, I'm honestly like, "Wow! How do we do that?" But really, the excitement builds when you see those first-time injectors finding their confidence or experienced practitioners refining their skills. There is nothing more rewarding than watching others grow.

And in many ways, all of you have been part of that journey too. Every patient who has allowed a student to shadow, every person who has said yes to a photo, a video, or an educational discussion during their appointment has contributed to something much bigger than they may realize. Your willingness to help us teach has played a meaningful role in raising the standard of aesthetic education for practitioners and patients alike.

I am certainly not disappearing from patient care entirely. I am happily continuing to treat some of you for facial filler treatments, provided you are comfortable giving full consent for educational and social media purposes.

For those of you looking for tox or skin-first treatments, we have introduced a special opportunity to experience treatment with Grace and Claire: 50 units for $499

I trust these beauties completely. In fact, I let them stick my own face with needles, which should tell you everything you need to know. They are exceptionally talented, thoughtful practitioners, and I know you will fall in love with them.

If you're in the practice, chances are you'll still see me floating around, working on new projects on the second floor, teaching, filming, collaborating with the team, or dreaming up our next big idea.

The next time you're here, ask for a tour of the second floor. I would love for you to see what we've built. We have a dedicated cinema where students learn theory, a little space where we create our accredited online courses, and a training center where we host cadaver programs.

Thank you for supporting our small business, our vision, our team, and me throughout all these years.

I never take that for granted, and your support and encouragement give us the fuel to cheer others on.
