Have you ever wanted to peek behind the curtain? There's no Wizard of Oz back here - just a dedicated team of talented ladies who keep The Confidence Bar and The Confidence Lab looking and sounding its best.

Meet Masha: the visionary
Have you ever laughed at one of our videos or gasped at a before-and-after? You can thank Masha.
Originally from Ukraine, Masha began as a small business owner and graphic designer. She fell in love with the strategy, psychology, and theories of consumer behavior. Upon moving to the US, Masha worked in a global marketing corporation that shaped her understanding of how brands work at scale. Masha sees her work living at the intersection of strategy, psychology, and real-world execution.
Masha has had a lifelong interest in aesthetic medicine, beauty, and self-care. She wondered at the why and how of aesthetic innovations long before joining The Confidence Bar. Combining that passion with her expertise made her ideal for refining and amplifying the voice and visuals of The Confidence Bar.
What inspires Masha most is working with our practitioners and learning their strong sense of self and unique voices. She delights in discovering those layers and translating them into the many kinds of content you know and love. Their individuality becomes her creative foundation that guides the tone, style, and storytelling of each piece.
Masha's favorite TV show is Sex and the City - it felt surreal when she lived in NYC for a year getting to walk those same streets.

Meet Melissa: the wordsmith
For a cheeky hook, or an explanatory caption - Melissa is your gal!
Melissa spent a decade as a university research librarian and brings with her a passion for facts and attention to details. Her transition into the aesthetics world came by happenstance and she couldn't be happier. Her role uses many of the same skills as librarianship - but a lot less shushing.
Over her first year on the Confidence Team, Melissa has asked our practitioners for explanations about treatments, muscle interactions, anatomy, aesthetic medicine history, and more. Hearing the different ways that they all describe what they do and capturing their approaches has taught her so much. Their skills as educators makes it a delight to work together to help our patients learn the how and why. She now knows more about facial anatomy than she ever imagined she'd learn!
In her free time, she writes historical fiction and plays the violin with the Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest.
Her go-to coffee order is an iced redeye with a pump of vanilla syrup.

Meet Celeste: the filmmaker
From stunning subtitles to removing 1,000 ummms - Celeste makes us all look so good.
Celeste graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Film and Entrepreneurship. She took every film editing class that waws available - loving every aspect of it. She's fascinated by how you can give two editors the exact same footage, and they will turn out completely different videos. The power of editing is truly underrated.
Celeste's entry into the Aesthetics industry was kismet. Dr Woodside, who Celeste works for as a receptionist, also works with Rana on teaching aesthetic practitioners the importance of learning about TMJ. When the Doctor heard that Rana was looking for an editor, Celeste was the first recommendation.
In her free time, Celeste creates mixed media. She combines prints of individual frames of a video with paint and pen drawing to create something new. These are then scanned and brought together with other images to create stop-motion short videos.
Her favorite movie is Interstellar and her favorite TV show is Survivor.
